GL Merge Utility

Are you in a situation where you have duplicate activities & transactions for different GL Accounts in your MAS 500 system? This is a very common occurrence while importing transactions (Purchase Orders, AP Invoices etc) through a web application or an integration link.

Do you want to eliminate these duplicate activities & transaction then , we at Greytrix have a utility called ‘GL Merge Utility’ where user can combined different GL accounts into a single account. The arduous task of merging all these entries for one account can now be done in a instant by the ‘GL Merge Utility’. Please refer the below screenshot.


From the above screen user can select the Target GL Account and then pick the multiple GL Accounts to be merged.

Using the GL Merge utility the following features will be available:

• Merges multiple GL Accounts into a single account.
• While merging process, the master data and history transactions will be merged so that no data is lost.
• By merging multiple GL accounts into a single destination account, you can eliminate duplicate activity or combine similar transactions into one account.
• After the merging process is completed then the ‘GL Recalculate History’ utility of a standard MAS 500 system will be executed to maintain the data effectiveness.
