GUMU ACT Link for Sage MAS 90/200 uses following mapping pattern for integration:
ACT! By Sage à Sage MAS 90/200
Company à Customer/Vendor
Contact à Contact
As in Sage MAS system we create Customer/Vendor and then their Contacts, we followed the similar mapping. This way we can import ACT! Contacts to Sage MAS as MAS Contacts (After importing ACT! Company as MAS Customer/Vendor) which is otherwise not possible.
Tip - We would suggest creating ACT! Users as Sales Person in MAS. This would be helpful when an ACT! user promotes Sales Order/Customer to MAS with his name selected as a Sales Person.
